Information on Single-Family Sales (New Construction & Existing Sales)
Median Sales Price:
Plymouth - Median Sales price of $450,000. Half of homes have sold above $450,000. An increase of 3.6% from August 2018.
Maple Grove - Median sales price of $376,000. Up 0.5% from August 2018.
Wayzata - Median sales price of $780,000. Down 14.8% from August 2018
Eden Prairie - Median sales price in August 2019 is $431,000. Up 0.2% from August 2018.
For Reference the Twin Cities Region reports a median sales price of $275,000 for Single-Family homes. Up 6.2% from August 2018.
Days on Market:
Plymouth - 30 Days on Market. Down 9.1% from August 2018
Maple Grove - 26 Days on Market. Down 3.7% from August 2018
Wayzata- 27 days on Market. Down 52.6% from August 2018.
Eden Prairie- 30 days on Market. Down 3.2% from August 2018.
For reference the Twin Cities Region as a whole shows 24 Days on Market. Even from August 2018.
0-3 Months is a Seller's Market | 3-6 months is an Even Market | 6+ Months is a Buyer's Market
Plymouth - 2.8 Months Supply. Even year over year.
Maple Grove - 2.5 Months Supply. Up 4.2% from August 2018.
Wayzata - 7 Months Supply. Up 59.1% from August 2018.
Eden Prairie - 2.9 Months Supply. Down 3.3% from August 2018.
Twin Cities Region - 2.4 Months Supply in August. Up 4.3% over August 2018.
We see an interesting thing happening in the Wayzata area. Starting in late 2016 new construction homes were booming! Through the information gathered we can see that Wayzata is an exception to the general Twin Cities market.
